Marco Transport, Inc. was originally named Marco Rentals and started as a light equipment rental resource company. Bob McVay was the General Manager, Sales Manager and primary shareholder. The company’s main focus was military contracts un-serviced by the larger rental organizations.
In 1992 after years of contracting transportation services, Marco purchased BK Gurley trucking and Bob’s life came full circle. You see Bob’s dad had owned trucking companies in Iowa and had driven during the summers of his college days.
